Why thinking of agile as culture and not just process explains resistance and difficulty in teaching and learning the approach

Josh_PhotoI’d been working with Josh and lots of others at his company for many months aiding with their agile adoption. Finally, things were beginning to go smoothly. The team was productive and happy – and we were making good progress on the product we were building. One day when passing in the hall, Josh said to me:
